Hello to everyone reading this. I’m Lorna A. Fraser, and I like starlight and sunny weather. When I’m feeling down in the dumps,  taking a walk outside makes me happy and inspires me to express this happiness in words. As I breathe in fresh air and look around at the pure beauty of bougainvillea and the wide expanse of sky and earth, mountain and valley, the cells of my body and brain are bathed with life-giving oxygen, and my spirit feels revived.

Likewise, let your contemplation of the morning result in a sense of joy that carries you through the day. The Psalmist says, ‘I will praise the Lord at all times; His praise will continually be in my mouth.’ And so, as you walk, you can contemplate the wonder of God’s eternal presence, as you look towards the Blue Mountains, majestic in their splendor. Their beauty makes you revel in the sheer joy of living, and remember that  ‘help comes from the Lord who made heaven and earth’.  And so, let us all try to raise our consciousness to consider the eternal, unchanging nature of God, and savour the knowledge that His will is supreme.

Love old as the hills
